Bears vs. Buccaneers: Snap counts Cheap Jordan Howard Jersey , stats, and more All statistics and snap counts are taken directly from the NFL’s Game Statistic and Information System, as we’re the snipped pictures in my tweets. The Chicago Bears beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 48 to 10, and it wasn’t even that close. Take a look at the team stats where the Bears had the edge in total yards, (483 to 311), total first downs (26 to 16), average yards per offensive play (8.3 to 5.2), and third down conversions (4-8 50% to 3-12 25%), although the Bucs were 2 for 2 on 4th down. The Buccaneers did have the edge in time of possession (31:54 to 28:06), and they had more penalties too (11 for 99 yards to 4 for 38 for the Bears). It was a dominant and complete performance by the Chicago Bears. They put the NFC North on notice that that are a team to take seriously. This may have been the Bears big breakout game for Mitchell Trubisky and the Matt Nagy offense, but the defense was putting in serious work again as well. And this was against the number one offense in the NFL. The Bears were favored by most people in this game, but no one saw a 38 point spread coming. The Bears will now take a week off to regroup and refresh themselves while on a bye before traveling to South Beach for an October 14th showdown with the Miami Dolphins. OFFENSEThis massacre against the Bucs will forever be known as the Trubisky break-out game. I don’t remember the last time a Bears’ player put up video game numbers, but I could get used to this from the second year QB. He went 19 of 26 for 354 yards http://www.bearscheapstores.com/char...o-jersey-cheap , with 6 TD passes, and his passer rating was a sparkling 154.6. He added 53 yards on the ground too, just to show he’s a dual threat. He had two players go over a hundred yards receiving. Tarik Cohen (7 receptions for 121 yards and 1 TD), and Taylor Gabriel (7/104/2). This was the first 100+ yard receiving day for both players. Cohen added 53 yards on the ground and another 14 on punt returns. Gabriel had a 10 yard run too.Trubisky’s other TD passes went to Allen Robinson II (2 catches for 23 yards), Trey Burton (2/86), and Josh Bellamy (1/20).Jordan Howard only had 11 rushes 25 yards, but after three straight weeks with defenses focusing on him, maybe the Bears wanted to showcase a few other weapons. His 33 offensive snaps and 54% of the offensive plays were both season lows. The Bears o-line kept Trubisky clean most of the day, he was sacked once and hit three total times. Kyle Long and Bobby Massie had one penalty apiece. Also interesting to note that rookie James Daniels received some play at left guard this week. DEFENSEAkiem Hicks was ejected for bumping an official, but before leaving the game he recorded his third sack of the season. Other Bears picking up sacks were Khalil Mack and Aaron Lynch, and Bilal Nichols and Roy Robertson-Harris split a sack. Mack added a forced fumble, tackle for loss and a pass defense to go along with 4 tackles. It was kind of a quiet day for the MVP candidate.Nichols had 2 of the Bears’ 6 TFLs, and Lynch had 2 of the Bears’ 7 QB hits. Lynch also had an interception and he continues to plat good football for the Bears after missing most of training camp and the preseason. Other Bears with interceptions were Danny Trevathan and Eddie Jackson. With Prince Amukamara missing Cheap Tarik Cohen Jersey , the Bears gave rookie undrafted free agent Kevin Toliver II the start at corner and he led the team in tackles with 7. He was also hit with a ticky-tack pass interference late in the game. SPECIAL TEAMSCody Parkey went 2 for 2 on field goals, and 6 for 6 on extra points. He also put 7 of his kickoffs into the endzone for touchbacks. Patrick O’Donnell punted twice for 96 yards. Benny Cunningham had a kick return for 28 yards. Sherrick McManis led the Bears with 2 special teams tackles. To see the full statistical breakdown of the game, check out the ESPN box score and game recap.Hello NFL Sunday, welcome back, we missed you...
