One final preseason game. One final showcase for many players desperately clinging to roster spots. And one more opportunity for others to surprise. For the Green Bay Packers http://www.packerscheapshoponline.co...-taylor-jersey , the bulk of the roster has rather solidified itself. But as usual, the last few places on the 53-man list remain question marks heading into a fourth preseason game. Depth in the defensive backfield, as well as across the offensive line, figures to affect the final numbers. Meanwhile, quarterback suddenly has become a conceivable three-man position group once again. Before the Packers kick off against the Kansas City Chiefs, here is a look at my last three players earning spots before opening week and the first three that will be sent packing.Last Three In1. Tim Boyle, QBWith the trade of Brett Hundley on Wednesday, the early report is that the Packers will choose to keep three quarterbacks on the initial 53-man roster. After the New Orleans Saints scooped up Taysom Hill in the training camp aftermath a season ago, the thought behind retaining Boyle is that the Packers would avoid a repeat situation. Although he would be a great fit as a developmental prospect on the practice squad, Boyle has a good chance to be claimed if waived. The Packers will also get at least one week to make a longer-term decision on Boyle with Aaron Jones serving a first-game suspension. Boyle is the safest of the last three in at this point after exceeding expectations from the jump. 2. Raven Greene, SGreene is one of three undrafted rookies to make my final roster. With so much up-and-down play from the fairly young position group, I think the Packers will choose to keep five safeties. That number should include Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, Kentrell Brice, and Josh Jones as locks and Jermaine Whitehead as a versatile defensive back with special teams value. It leaves Greene Cheap Josh Jackson Jersey , Marwin Evans, and Quinten Rollins fighting for one backup safety spot. By this point, the Packers have been given a clearer idea of the talent they have in Evans and Rollins and it is not anything extravagant. With greater long-term potential, Greene can be groomed into a contributor down the road while aiding on special teams. He figures to get plenty of snaps to state his case against Kansas City.3. Greer Martini, LBThe former tryout player Martini has done nothing but give himself a legitimate chance at a final spot despite his long-shot label at the start. As a player who gained first team reps at inside linebacker and on special teams at various points of camp, Martini is a tough cut and sneaks on to the final roster despite the acquisition of Antonio Morrison and coverage skills of Ahmad Thomas. The injury to Oren Burks and the unknowns surrounding Morrison in Green Bay could be enough to warrant an extra inside linebacker at the beginning of the season. Martini has had his share of rookie mistakes, but heís also shown enough ďfootball smartsĒ to pick up the defense quickly and earn another round of training.Last Three Out1. Demetri Goodson, CBGoodson has been on the wrong side of several 50-50 balls in live preseason action, but heís made a tremendous comeback from a gruesome knee injury a couple seasons ago. Heís earned more playing time and holds quite a bit of special teams value on kickoffs and punts to have a chance at the final roster. Although I still like the project Herb Waters, who has had a quiet camp overall, I think Goodson is the choice if the Packers keep a sixth cornerback. But at this moment, I project Goodson to be left looking elsewhere for active roster duty.2. Dillon Day, CIf I were polled last week, I would have given Day a final roster spot. However David Bakhtiari Jersey , with the sheer snap count of Adam Pankey in Oakland and his ability to play several positions, Day finds himself on the outside looking in. Kyle Murphyís struggles at tackle also help Pankeyís case, while the strong possibility of a waiver-wire pickup at tackle works against Day. The capable versatility of Justin McCray and Lucas Patrick to play center trumps Day, who holds little positional value outside of center. The Packers have about two too few spots to keep a true backup center and instead carry potential fill-ins at guard and tackle to begin the season. 3. Robert Tonyan, TEAfter a preseason game that put him on the radar against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Tonyan was rather quiet against Oakland with Emanuel Byrd actually getting the most attention of the backup tight ends. But Tonyan has another exhibition game to showcase his receiving skills that happen to be his biggest asset. With Lance Kendricks and Marcedes Lewis on one-year contracts, Green Bay has time to develop another tight end alongside Jimmy Graham. Tonyanís six-foot-five frame and time spent in the Packersí system give him a fighting chance, but with the promising recent news for Boyle, Tonyan shoots for a practice squad stint instead.Week 5 NFC North Fantasy Football Sits/Starts: Two games, plenty of starts The Chicago Bears have a bye this week and the Green Bay Packers take on the Lions of Detroit, so the NFC North battles will be limited to two contests this week. The Vikings get an NFC Championship game rematch against the Philadelphia Eagles. With the Vikings at 1-2-1 and the Eagles at 2-2, both have come out of the gate under-performing. I see this game being a crossroads of sorts for both teams. Become the team that you want to be for the remainder of the season, or fold. Meanwhile at Ford Field, the Packers will be fighting to keep pace with the Bears in the division and the Lions will try to avoid bottoming out under new head coach Matt Patricia. Letís take a look at who has the best chance to help your teams this week.Green Bay Packers @ Detroit LionsStart: Aaron Jones Cheap Jamaal Williams Jersey , RB If you were bold enough to draft Jones in redraft leagues and wait it out until he got his feet back following suspension, Iím hopeful this is when it starts to pay off. Jones was a strong play last week already and should be a legitimate flex play or low-end RB2 play this week. In two games, Jones is averaging 6.3 yards per carry and even impressed with a blitz pickup against the Bills last week. The knock has been that heís not a strong pass blocker and Jamaal Williams is better at that, but if Jones continues to pick up those blocks and have the ability to pick up first downs in two carries, he should 100% be the workhorse. With Randall Cobb still on the injury report, Ty Montgomery is best served at picking up the slack in the passing game and not taking away carries. Be comfortable starting Jones against the team that ranks last in rushing yards allowed per game. Start: Kerryon Johnson, RBFeels like it could be a good day for running backs. Not only have the Packers made Adrian Peterson look like 2008 Adrian Peterson two weeks ago, but there were spurts in Week 1 where Jordan Howard looked like he was ready to run wild over the Packers defense. Green Bay is ranked 18th in rushing yards allowed per game, but their rush rank by DVOA is 26th. Johnson has largely split carries with LeGarrette Blount, but his situation is similar to that of Aaron Jonesí in terms of being able to do more with those carries. Johnson is averaging 5.7 yards per carry on the season while Blount is averaging a pedestrian 2.7.Sit: Matt Stafford, QBStafford has a great receiving corps at his disposal, but that doesnít make him infallible. He put together his first game of the season last week with double-digit yards per completion. However, Dallas is the 26th-ranked team in DVOA against the pass while the Packers are quietly ranked 10th, allowing about 241 passing yards per game. Staffordís career averages in 15 games against Green Bay are 298 yards per game and roughly two TDís per contest Cheap Mike Daniels Jersey , but he also averages 1.5 interceptions.Currently, Stafford is the 17th-ranked fantasy quarterback averaging 17.7 ppg. Which is fine, but unless youíre in a two-QB league, there are better options. Minnesota Vikings @ Philadelphia EaglesStart: Jay Ajayi, RBAfter missing a week with a small fracture in his back, Ajayi came back to put together a respectable 15 carries for 70 yards. The back injury worries me a little bit, but apparently itís something heís just going to play through with a little pain. I still like Ajayi this week. With Darren Sproles and Corey Clement still nursing injuries, the timeshare at running back last week was 75% Ajayi and 25% Wendell Smallwood (five carries). Minnesota is currently ranked 30th out of 32 teams against running backs. Theyíve struggled to keep up with them and have allowed 3.9 yards per carry and over 100 yards per game to opposing running backs. Which brings me to my sit for this game.Sit: Vikings defenseThe Vikings defense is still 90% owned in ESPN leagues, but rank 21st at the position with 6.8 points per game. Losing Everson Griffin is a tough one to swallow and the Vikings offense isnít making things easier on the defense. Against the Bills, sure, they got walloped by a bad team, but the Vikings only allowed 292 yards on D. Poor field position and bad secondary play has led the defense to be placed in compromising positions. Per Football Outsiders, the Vikings are ranked 28th in DVOA against tight ends and 30th in DVOA against running backs. Both are positions that the Eagles can readily exploit with Ajayi and Zach Ertz.
